My introduction into wedding photography was completely organic. With nearly 30 years of photography to my name, I’ve spent the bulk of that time working predominantly in the BMX industry—shooting a mix of editorial and commercial work. Over time, some of the professional riders I had built long standing relationships with were getting married. Given our collected photo experiences—the familiarity, comfort, and trust—it just felt natural for me to document their weddings. As time went on, the BMX referrals accumulated, and before too long I was moonlighting as a wedding photographer. While I still work in the bicycle industry to this day, my love of photography and capturing the decisive moment knows no bounds.
